Canon Eos 30d comunication error

I'm interested in buying CaptureOne pro for my company but am have had not luck when connecting the camera. it just says that the connection has failled.
at the moment im just running the demo of the website.
i tryed changing the iousb kext but no luck with that so i tryied my other camera canon 300d and changed all the settings and everything and it worked first time so i changed back the settings to the 30d and i still got nothing.

i would apreciate any help at all

  The Canon 30D is yet not supported tethered.
  This is because componentes for this was not available from Canon at the time of the release of Capture One 3.7.4
  Hopefully this will change by the next release.
