Shortcuts to Tab 1, 2, 3 only work sometimes
I have all of my 'develop' tools in the 3rd tool tab. I have the shortcut to get there set to "D" . However, when I hit D half the time it takes me to the 3rd tool tab, and the other half of the time it takes me to the first tooltab (which has the capture, output, select and trash folders, metadata and stuff). I can't figure out if there is a pattern to when it takes me to which one, but it's really very very annoying and interrupts my workflow. Please help!

Exact same problem for me. It is very annoying to ½ the time end up in my library tab (for me my first tab) instead of my Develop tab (also my 3rd tab) 0 -
Can anyone please help me with this? 0 -
I would suggest that you create a Support Case to get personal assistance from the technical team.
Meanwhile have you tried using the default shortcut options provided and if so did you see the same or similar problems?

I can reproduce the issue easily. In particular the Library tool tab is a favourite of the program as it often goes to that tab, when you change the default shortcut.
As Grant suggested, contact support, as it feels like a bug to me.0 -

I tried to reproduce this using Windows 7 and could not get any failure at all in several attempts.
Could it be a MAC only problem and might that therefore suggest some sort of investigation of parameter files of previously cached files could offer some possibility of a quick solution?

I'm having the same issue. None of my keyboard shortcuts are working for tool tab selection. I too have the develop tab set to D and the process recipes tab or Export set to E along with shortcuts to the other main tabs. When I hit them it just goes to the first tab every time for me. It's super annoying. If this was their idea of more customizable keyboard shorts, it's not working.
I submitted a support ticket and this was the response:
"Hello!
Thank you for reaching out to us and for your interest in Capture One.
I've filed a bug report regarding this issue in our database and forwarded it to our development team.
Keep an eye out on future updates and release notes.
Please keep in mind, that due to our policy we do not comment or give out any information on future products and development."
I guess its a bug. I asked C1 to clarify. If they are asking us to fork out $150 for an upgrade this is not a good start.0 -
I have Capture One 12 so I don't think an upgrade will fix this issue. I'm on a Mac. 0 -
I am on rev 12, Mojave and it seems to work fine for me. But I am using default shortcuts Opt-Cmd-#
One thing I have noticed making my own is that care is needed selecting key combo for shortcuts. For example default for D is sorting by date, perhaps this has confused your capture? Forcing unique combination would be an easy answer, but C1 seems happy to accept duplicates.0 -

A future update (rather than an upgrade) probably will fix the issue.
(Once the root cause(s) of the problem has been identified. There could be a number of areas of recent Operating system development, C1 UI changes and revisions to the Shortcut key definition process involved.)0
