Save setting of local adjustment brush.
Hi folks. I am new user of Capture one. I used to use Lr till now. I have question about local adjustment brush. If there is possible to save settings? I mean when I set some settings and done with one image I would like to do the same adjustment on another image with the same settings. To do this I need to set up the brush again with every image. Any solution? Thanks in advance.

Towards the right hand end of the toolbar is a "Copy Adjustments" button(upwards pointing arrow to the right of the A-Auto adjust button)press that to "save" your settings. Then on the image you want to apply the settings to, press the button with the downward pointing arrow("Apply Adjustments").This will Copy and Apply all the adjustments you made to the original image.
Hope this helps.0 -
Hmm... I know about it but it doesn't sorted my problem. If I do some adjustments on one image and apply for another one, this adjustment I will have in the same place as previous one. Ie. if I want to have lighter faces and use brush with +1 ev on one image then apply it on second one, lighter spot will be in the same place. I just want to have brush with same settings and paint where I want. 0 -
Copying, as Tim suggested, will give you the brush settings for whichever photo you copied from but, as you have recognised, the mask may not be where you want it so a little new masking and some erasing may be required for each local adjustment level.
On the other hand, on my system, the previous settings for each brush (paint and erase) seem to be retained from one use to the next. If I have understood you original post correctly you do not see the same behaviour. Which is a little strange.
Maybe there is something I have not completely thought through.

My brush settings back to default every time I want to use it. 0 -
I believe we need to distinguish between:
a) brush settings, which would be size, opacity, hardness and such like
b) the adjustment settings, for exposure, clarity etc.
The adjustment settings are specific for a particular layer and cannot in my understanding be preserved by any means. Open a new layer, every adjusment will be at default.
Brush settings on the other hand will be as last used.

Good point Mogens.
The Copy option, in my experience, retains the previous settings for everything. That is usually quite a good result for the adjustment although the mask is likely to need modification or complete change.
However there is no guarantee that the adjustments that work for one image will work just as well for the next one.
