Next Capture Adjustments/Copy from Last - Canon Help

While shooting to a Canon 5D Mark IV, I cannot figure out why I can't get "Next Capture Adjustments" to "Copy from Last" - Specifically targeting adjustments I have made to White Balance, crop, etc. The only way I have found to work around the issue is to copy my adjustments (CTRL + SHIFT + C) to the clipboard and set "All Other" to Copy from Clipboard. Strangely enough, this works, but isn't the easy way. I constantly forget to Copy new changes I make along the way. I'm sure this has been addressed somewhere and I apologize if it has, but can someone tell me what I'm missing!?
