Nikon D750 and Capture One

Absolutely love my d750, but Capture 1 doesn't seem to share my enthusiasm. Firstly, I can't get my raw files into capture one direct from the card reader. I've had to convert them to DNG using the adobe converter, which crashes constantly.

Now they're in, I can't find a profile for the d750 and they are all showing up pale grey. Does this mean I have to upgrade to version 8? I was hoping that I wouldn't have to spend more money on upgrading so soon...

  My understanding is that the D750 is not supported in Version 7. Generally, when new cameras come out after a new release of C1, they are only supported in the new version of C1, not in older versions. There was one exception recently for the D810, for reasons that I can't now fully remember, but that is the general rule.
  
  If you can manage to pay for an upgrade to C1 version 8, I think you would find it very rewarding. There are several new features that I find very useful. You can, of course, try a free trial before you commit to paying for an upgrade.
  
  Good to hear that you are loving your D750 - I'd like one, but can't afford it for now. (Much more expensive than the C1 upgrade!)
