If you have Capture One 8.1 (not 8.0) you should find that you have an option called Edit with - that does what you want, if I have understood you correctly. You can upgrade free from 8.0 to 8.1.

Is it possible to use the 'Edit With' option from a Process Recipe? You can 'Open With', but 'Edit With' would be very useful, as it automatically adds the edited file to the Session or Catalogue after editing.

The short answer is no (I am sorry). Why would you like to do that? I know that a process recipe has more options than a recipe in the Edit with... command. Is there something you like/need?

    Hi, thanks for replying.

I usually do all processing for jpeg, print or further editing by means of Process Recipes. It seemed that it would be good to be able to use 'Edit With' instead of 'Open With' as part of a Process Recipe, but then I suppose that right-clicking and selecting 'Edit With' is pretty quick anyway. 😊
