Media Pro Reader

When I'm using the Media Pro Reader and I copy a file by dragging it to my desktop the thumbnail disappears and the catalog says the original media file is no longer available. If I close and reopen the catalog in the Media Pro Reader the icon reappears. How can I fix this...very annoying. This did not happen in Expression Media.

  Sorry if this reply is no longer relevant, but I just spotted the message.
  
  I had a similar problem with Media Pro Reader. I spent weeks talking to support, who claimed that there was no problem, even though I was able to read the files successfully in Expression Reader.
  
  The solution for me: burn the catalogue onto DVD or whatever external device you are using, but put all the original files in a folder if the original files are still needed. Set 'thumbnails and previews' to 'full screen previews' and 'view at all times'. I was then able to see the files with or without the originals. But as soon as I put the originals in the same directory as the catalogue, any file I clicked on was not visible. The path name changed and I got a blank thumbnail.
