Newbie Question unable to get .cos settings files to apply
Hi,
I received some RAW images with associated .cos files from a client. I followed these instructions:
The COS files should be stored in the ../CaptureOne/Settings50 subfolder of the image folder. If the COS files come from an earlier version you might want to make a Settings45 folder instead. CO5 will automatically convert the settings files to the Settings50 folder.
Note that you can best do this when CO5 is closed and have CO5 open the the images with their new settings. It that still does not work (and that happens) you can force CO5 to read the settings by changing to a different folder in the Library tool and than revert back to your images.
but I am still unable to open the images with these .cos settings applied.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you.

if the image path is: /xx/yy/img.tif
then the settings for this image should be: /xx/yy/CaptureOne/Settings50/img.tif.cos
when you launch Capture One and look into this folder that image will have these settings applied auto.
the settings should be in the xml form and start like this:
<?xml version="1.0"?>
