arrrg...Capture One Pro and the new Mac Pro.
I am starting this thread now. Being proactive!
I bet Capture One Pro is not yet supported on the new Mac Pro. When it is Phase will release a version that says something like 'Compatible with the new Mac Pro'. Until then you are a test pilot. Not a bad thing to be; Chris Hadfield was a test pilot and he is quite interesting and has lots of stories though none of them are about delivering clean images perfectly post processed by Capture One and the new Mac Pro. If he did have a story about that it would start with "so i got my penknife out and pried the video processing chip off the video card and replaced it with the one I had built earlier in kitchen of the ISS".
I'm off to buy a couple of used thunderbolt monitors to put onto my early 2013 MacBook Pro that I bought especially to run Capture One Pro under OS X Mountain Lion.
take care,

I imagine the issue is not whether it will work on the new Mac Pro, but what version of OSX that Mac Pro is running. You'll have seen the discussions here about Mavericks and C1.

Bingo.
I'm not sure why the OP is prematurely frustrated. The Mac Pro tubes aren't ready until December and even then it's just a computer, so if it meets the software specifications (which it will far exceed) then the software will work. The only concerns would be some features of Capture One, namely OpenCL. The New Mac Pro has Dual Graphics cards so we'll only be able to support one. It really depends on how Apple integrates them.... other than that, no need to "arrrg".0 -
I read this as a humourous attempt to get ahead of the crowd with the scheduled complaints posts just in case something does not work.
Sort of like dpreview but with a smile or two.
Was I wrong?

Are you REALLY complaining about something that has not even happened yet?
Your not ahead of the curve my friend, sorry.
Maybe a walk in the grass, go shoot something, take a nap.0
