Demo period
I am running Capture One Pro. Last weekend, I downloaded the latest upgrade, v6.3.1. I installed it per the instructions, looks like it over wrote on top of my original version. I launched it via the 30 day 'Try' toggle. I was disappointed to find out the LCC feature is still not supported for Canon 5DMKII files, as I do quite a bit of flat art copy work. So I really don't want to do this upgrade right now and will let the 30 day demo expire.
My question is, will my Capture One Pro become totally inactive in 30 days, or will it downgrade itself to my original fully activated version after 30 days?

Starting with the last question: depends on your last fully activated version. If you were already running CO6, no change in activation should have occurred. If you ran CO5, you can continue to use that after you have installed it. Note that you can always manage your activations from the Phase One website.
Regarding LCC and the Canon 5D mkII. What are you looking for? It works great for me!0 -
I use the LCC feature when I shoot a grey board filling the frame on my copy set up, and apply it to my captures of art copy. It is greyed out for Canon 5DMKII, but active for my Canon 1Ds.
So regarding my activation question, when the 30 days are up, the software automatically reverts back to my previous version?0 -

Too little information. What is (was) your previous version? A gave a hint but you probably missed it. 😂0 -
Most common reason is that you are shooting sRAW or mRAW
In order for LCC function to be active you must shoot full resolution RAW.0 -

Ding Ding Ding! Give that man a prize! The camera was on sRAW.0 -
Because CO6 installed on top of CO5 (CO5 is overwritten), install CO5 again after the CO6 trial period has ended.
But perhaps you like CO6 and you'll start using full RAW tomorrow. 😁0
