canon capture orientation
No problem with the Phase back, but is it possible we still have to cheat camera orientation by saving it as a style if you want to manually set capture orientation with canon? The option menu for controlling this is greyed out.

I can't find this either. It used to be a preference in version 3.x.x. I can'y believe they would remove a feature that worked, and worked well.

Which camera d you have? On the 1ds111 and 5d11 its controlled by the camera and is in one of the camera menu's, you have it rotate on camera lcd and or computer. 0 -
There's a difference between autorotate and manual, and there's valid reasons for preferring the latter. I don't think it's a camera function.

I have the Canon 5d mk2, and the rotation works wonderfully for most situations. But today, I am shooting food, aiming straight down, and the internal sensor does not rotate it the way I want, and there is no manual override on the camera (that I know of). CaptureOne, does not seem to copy to adjustment, despite have 'Next Capture Adjustment' set to 'Copy from Last'.

YOu can use the workaround: save rotation as a style, and then select "defaults with style.." using the saved rotation. This behavior was noted with v4 first release I was under the impression the menu feature was going to be restored. 0
