Batc processing problems
In waiting for C1 4 pro I've downloaded C1 4 as I use Leopard.
However, I've got some trobble wrt processing;
This is a problem I have put to the support team as well but Ithought I'd try it out here as well in case sombody have experienced the same
C1 4 was working perfectly up to a few days ago when suddenly these two problems occurred:
1. When I want to create a destination folder for processing photos, the option "New Folder" does not appear.
2. Batch processing does not work on multiple selectiones. Only the first selected photo get processed.
I have tried to uninstall the application and then re-install it but that doesn't solve the problem.
If you have any suggestiones I'd be most happy.
Best regards

1. In the output destinationi folder the New Folder button is indeed missing. However, with Shift+Cmd+N you can create a new folder
2. When multiple images are selected, CO4 makes a distinction between the primary selected and others. Most commands only take effect on the primary selected. However, when holding the Shift-key while executing a command, all selected are effected. So, Shift+Process button or Shift+Cmd+D processes all selected.
Re-installation does not change this behavior. It's by design.0 -
Thanks a lot Paul.
Cumbersome way to do things but I can live with that for a while.
Couldn't dream up the Shift+Cmd+N for new file myself. Sure enough, I tried Cmd+N as would be logical from finder but there you go.
Thanks a mill!

You're welcome Tore.
I read the new folder command here in the forum. It came from Phase One support I believe. The new folder button will be there in an update, I think.0 -
Again, Phase One has added more steps. Why, why why? In 3.7, when I started a new batch of editing, I clicked on New Session and I had everything in place and the software knew where to put the images. Plus, I knew where the images were going. I am still trying to figure out this new scenario. But I do know I have to create folders manually and then locate them again when processing. More steps means more time.
As for batch proccessing multiple files, again, more steps. Why why why? It was so easy before. Highlight the images and click process. Now I have to highlight the images and they move "up" but I really can't see them all and I get a message like "180 more files selected". Then I have to hol,d the shift key down and select proccess. But, What if I wanted to de-select image number 176 that I can not even see?

Even the new tutorial video does not make that clear. What would we do without this forum?!!0
