Is the Mac OS version 64bit?
I have purchased full versions of both C1 and Medi Pro last week. When I am working with in MP, I notice the continually spinning wheel at the bottom right corner of the application and was wondering what was happening. I opened MAC OS Activity Monitor and saw that MP was only using 0.6 CPU and 20 threads and 48MB ( I have 16GB installed). OS is 10.6.8
I am processing both IIQ and EIP from a P40+, plus CR2 from a Canon 1Ds MKIII.
I also noticed that it is not running in 64 bit mode on my Intel iMac 2.66 I5.
Why does the wheel spin all day? I do not have any of the auto updates turned on.
Why is it not running in 64bit mode, and can a switch that on somewhere?

Wow, Posted this a week ago and no answer?
Must be dealing with all the Media Pro crash reports, whispering, total sarcasm!
Is Media Pro over? How can it not be 64 bit, Angry Birds is 64 bit.....0 -

On my Windows 7 64, the little wheel is always spinning once I ask the software to any little task.
I think it is doing something in the background, such as optimizing the db, but no one seems to know.
I do know that saves after I load a lot of new files go faster if I just let it "run" for quite a while.
Re 64 bit mode - I believe this is still old code. Maybe someday.0
