Adding only images that are missing in a folder tree

    The sync folder option was designed to do the delta. I believe you are already working with that? (from another thread you started).

    Yes, I do. But it cannot import files in folders that are not already hold images synced with CO. What I would have expected is an option that I can import twice (or more) a directory structure and it only adds the files that are not already in the catalog...

    Hmm, not aware of this is possible (apparently not). Perhaps you can the specific folder only in the Import Images dialog? (can be troublesome in a large folder structure, I know).

    What you also could try is this. In the Library > Folders section, click in the + sign at the right. It allows you to add a folder to the catalog. Add the folder you like to import additional images from. I assume the folder is not already in the Library.
    Next, right-click that folder and Synchronize.

    Finding the missing folders is quite cumbersome. I ended up writing a program that traverses a directory tree and lists all the image files that are not in Capture One database. That helped finding the directories/files that needed import...
