Same issue here.
Trying to open an incredibly important session with v10.
Thankfully it creates a backup of the session when it converts it to v10 and I can continue to work in v9.

I have a hackintosh with a GTX 960.
It's OpenCL.
In preferences I turned off OpenCL support for Display and it does not crash (so far).
However OpenCL turned on for processing seems to work.0 -

Thanks - that seems to take care of it!0 -
This is a known issue for CO10 and 3rd party nvidia cards using the non-standard driver. We're looking into, but I cannot give You an eta. 0 -

Same experience for me, and, the Pro 10 "upgrade" to my catalog now makes me unable to get into my Pro 9.3 program. A huge memory drain on my iMac freezes if I use Pro 10, and Pro 9.3 is now inaccessible. Hey Capture One, you're forcing a loyal customer of many years to have to find a competing RAW processing program! I have a tech support case filed, but noting is working right to find a remedy. Not happy.0 -
If you can't open your Capture One 9 session in 10.
1.) Open a blank sessions.
2.) Go to preferences > general > hardware accelleration > display: never (leaving processing at auto)
3.) Close that sesssion.
4.) Open your Capture One 9 Session.
5.) Get back to work!0 -

You can also grab the backup inside the catalog (inside Finder, looking inside the catalog package). Capture One also tells you that a backup is being created upon upgrading of the catalog.0
