Star Rating not working
I've just started to use stars to rate my images and it works great except once I rate an image with a star it can not be undone. The user guide says to press "0" to remove a rating but no matter what the file always retains at least one star. The only way I have found to get rid of an image is move everything else up to two or more stars. I would much prefer to make the image nuetral. Any suggestions?

Not sure what the problem is as it's working okay for me. Make sure it's the number zero, not the letter O. You can also try clearing the rating from the adjustments menu. 0 -

I have the same issue on a Windows 7 system. nothing that CO says will work - works.
I take it into Media One to get rid of it.0 -

It's the #0 Tried Keys at both the top and side of key board, adjustments menu and made sure Num Lock is off among other things. Nothing works. Perhaps it a Win 7 issue similar to the file locking problem if your familiar with that.
Guess I'll have to submit a report to C1.0 -
Works here (6.2.2 64 bit) from the top keyboard, wether the NUMLOCK or CAPLOCK are on or not, and even if the focus is on the preview pane.
ONLY works from the 10 key side pad if NUMLOCK is ON (as you would want)....
I'd suggest A/B on your keyboard, but finding two bad keys would be a stretch....so make sure you have no macro programs installed, maybe try upgrading to the new version if you're on 6.2.2....although I haven't yet and it should work with 6.2.2
Bad news is this is not a universal bug, so it might be hard to track down, hope the upgrade works for you.0 -

Richard,
I haven't seen a support case regarding this error as of late but I can confirm that it does not exist on my system so it may have to due with keyboard mapping or some adjustment of Keyboard Shortcuts.0 -
Thanks for reply. Deleted pref. file, installed v. 6.3, checked keyboard for any customization and tried a different keyboard. No luck. Submitting support case now. I did see another post where someone else had the same problem with Win7. 0 -

I have the same issue with 6.1 and 6.3 on my Dell system.
None of the various tools will work - mouse, main key 0, numberpad 0.
I have to take it to Media Pro.0
