Do it from within Capture One. In the library tab, locate the client folder you wanted the images to be in, then select all the images in the capture folder and drag and drop them to the folder you wanted. If you do it within Capture One, its database will keep track of where the images are.

You can in future set the client folder as your capture folder. Right click the client folder, and select Set as Capture Folder.

I normally set up a client folder and shoot to that folder. Somehow before the session it was changed to the capture folder instead of the client folder. How do I more the files to the client folder from the capture folder?

Do you set up a new session for each client shoot?

If so, does it matter what the folder is called?

In addition to Ian's suggestion if you set the Client Named folder to be the selects folder and then in the Capture folder, select all of the images and move them to the "Selects" folder you have another way to tidy up the naming conventions. The is a keyboard shortcut for "Move to Selects".
