Delete function recreates .cop file
When using the delete function within Pro 4.5, the preview/settings/raw files get deleted (actually moved to the trash folder), but then the preview is immediately recreated in the cache proxies folder. I suspect that the function deletes the preview/settings first, but before the raw is deleted it begins recreating the preview as if it just found a new file. Using "alt-delete" appears to work as expected.
I would rather have an option to not use the trash folder as it is slow to move the file. Using windows recycle bin was quicker while still allowing me to undelete, and it also would restore the files back to their original locations (Pro 4.5 requires dragging the files back from the trash folder).
So far, I am extremely pleased with Capture One Pro 4.5 and am looking forward to some little tweaks to be fixed soon. I especially would like to see customizable toolbars and menus in the windows version like the mac.

The re-generation behavior you describe does not occur in my XP Pro system with CO 4.5. Both Delete and Delete Permanently work as expected.
CO 4.5 does not use the Recycle Bin as in the previous release (CO 4.0-4.1). I think this changed due to user feedback and I am perfectly happy with how it is now.0 -
It may have something to do with using a slower external USB drive containing the raw files and the trash folder residing on my main hard drive (the 28MB files from my 1Ds Mark III take a little longer to move). Restarting the drive seems to have stopped the behavior for now. I'll have to watch it though because I like to rename all my keepers sequentially, not just the output files, but the raw and .cos settings also. Having random leftover files throws off my renamer program. 0
