Keyword deletion not straightforward

I've been experimenting with the improved keyword function and have hit a problem: when I delete a catalogue keyword it doesn't stay deleted and reappears in the tool bar a few seconds later. I decided to delete the keyword library and start again but the 'delete keyword library' option is greyed out. I've checked the keyword programme on youtube again and can see nothing that helps - so I am obviously missing something. Any suggestions would be appreciated. The catalogue that I am working in holds all of my 2015 images.

  An update to 9.0.3.5 seems to have fixed the problem. Thank you.
