popout adjustment panel on viewer

I use a two monitor setup with browser and tools on my left monitor and fullscreen viewer on my right monitor. When I take a tool's cursor near to the right edge of the viewer, a panel with adjustment tools pops out from the side of the screen and covers part of my image. Can I turn off this behavior?

  Yes, you can manage that from the View menu. You can show, hide tools, or have it auto mode. Hide the tools. Do not forget to select the second viewer before you open the View menu.

  Thanks! I didn't know you had to select the viewer window first.
