Submit a support case. You'll get much faster assistance. 😊

My 7.0.1 froze, too. I copied the session folder I was working on and managed to reopen it. Now the browser behaves funnily: the variants kind of expand too much. The same variants are ok when viewed in an album.
This happened in Pro mode, DB seems to be ok. Did you try to start in DB mode?

Sadly the 7.0 version worked ok, froze only occasionally.

I removed my own workspaces which were made with version 6. Looks good so far.

hello - i use C1 7.01 every day at work. for me this software is like an exotic sports car; fantastic when it's on form but spends a lot of time in the shop or leaving you by the side of the highway scratching your head. with a brand new maxed out Macbook Pro i thought my crashing issues would disappear but i have had consistent crashes at the point of processing a single file. this is quite worrying as it crashes the entire system and i can't navigate to the Finder to do a force quit and am left with no option but to do a hard shut down. sometimes many times a day. having archive and backup drives attached when i do this is pretty bad, i suspect.

also i regularly open a session and many or all of the previews have not formed. this doesn't seem to be fixed by restarting or by stopping Open CL or by verifying the session or any other option.

i have on two separate occasions deactivated C17 on my laptop, navigated to the buried .plist files and application support files and deleted them, deleted the application, reinstalled the application, set up my workspace again from scratch, only to find myself doing a hard shut down again and again.

i love capture one and want it to love me too. the new improvements are so tantalising i just wish i could use them with confidence. any advice or feedback is most welcome.

    many thanks,

    ben

I don't know if it is the same problem but you might give it a try.

    Cheers, Bob.
