Viewer Stays minimized on dual screens

I am new to Capture One, so maybe I am just not doing something right. However, if I minimize the viewer for a session or catalog when I try to bring it back up it pops up for a second and then minimizes again. The only way that I can get it to come back up is to change my workspace back to default and then back to two monitors.

is there something that I am doing wrong?

  You are not doing something wrong. It's a bug. I can confirm the same behavior. I did find a work around. Instead of minimizing the viewer window, close the window instead of minimizing it. Then reopen by selecting \window\viewer from the other display's menu bar to reopen the viewer.
  
  A bug report needs to be made and I will do so.

  Similar thing happens in Windows too.

  I described this to Tech Support and they asked: Under System Preferences > Dock, do you have Minimize windows into application icon checked?
  
  I tested this with and without checking this option in the user preferences. The bug appears when it is checked. Otherwise Viewer minimizes to a temporary doc icon. Clicking on that icon redisplays Viewer.
  
  Normally, after minimizing the Viewer, the Viewer window should be redisplayed by right clicking the Capture One icon and selecting Viewer. When done, the Viewer is displayed for a fraction of a second, disappears and reselecting Viewer from the Dock icon has no effect. To redisplay the Viewer, single monitor mode must be selected and then dual monitor mode followed by selecting the Viewer window.
  
  Tech support confirms that this is a bug. Meanwhile, one could either quit the Viewer window (red button) instead of minimizing (yellow button) and open it again when needed or in the alternative, uncheck the system preference option to minimize to the application icon.
