Mac Pro 4 core vs 6

Hi All,
Does anyone have any info on which might be better/faster, a Mac Pro with 4-cores and more ram or the 6-core version, with their faster graphics card with not as much ram?
My primary concern is capture speed as we usually shoot tethered.

  Shoot tethered to the Local SSD.
  The 6 Core (depending on specs) will be faster.
