Spot Tool and MacOs Sierra
I have a recurring hassle with the spot tool, causing C1 to grind to a halt for a few seconds or sometimes a few minutes, sucking up all the CPU cores in the process.
I zoom into portrait images to clean up skin blemishes, and use the spot tool to quickly clean up marks. When I try to zoom out to 100% or move to a new section of the frame the mouse cursor turns into a colour wheel and C1 locks up. The more spots I've tagged the slower the response. It's killing me. Working through a folder of several hundred portraits that would normally take a few seconds per shot, instead I'm getting a few dozen finished in an hour.
Have never seen this problem before in C1. All other performance is fine. Anyone else experiencing this glitch? Have tried fresh reboots and new session folders.

Likely an OpenCL issue. Try setting that to Never for Display under Preferences > General. Restart Capture One to commit the change.
If that doesn't resolve it, best option here is to create a tech support case (via the link in my profile) and send us your log files, which can be generated via Scripts > File Packager.0
