Can the toolbar be locked?

I love customization, but when I get going too fast I accidentally drag the tools while trying to click the Auto or Reset icons on the tools. Is there a way to lock the toolbar, similar to the "Lock the Taskbar" option in Windows?

  No, not that I am aware of. A tip to recover from (accidently) changing the tools (not toolbar which is on top of CO4 screen): Window menu, Workspace, Default. (applies to CO4 Pro/DB)

  Now if I could save my workspace settings first then an option here to restore would be helpful. I don't want to go back to the original defaults and loose all my customization. For my accidental dragging, it's probably quicker to drag it back anyway, just a nuisance.

  Saving workspace is not entirely new to CO4, it has become available in CO4 Pro/DB for the Macintosh recently. It is a nice feature indeed. Hopefully this will also come available for its Windows sibling soon.
