How To Import Photos To Capture One W/O Making Doubles
Hello everyone!
I am new to Capture One and photography, so bare with me 😊
I can't seem to figure out how to import photos to Capture One without making doubles of everything in my computer. Grrr!!! Your help is greatly appreciated.

So tell us a bit more about what you are doing. Where are you importing photos from - existing locations on your computer? Are you importing them into a session or a catalog? If it's to a catalog, are you using a managed catalog, or a referenced catalog? (Managed is where the photos get stored in the catalog - it's what you get if you choose "inside catalog" in the "Import to" field in the import dialog. Referenced is what you get if you choose "current location" at that point instead - Capture One just creates references to the location of your photos. It will create previews in the catalog, but it won't copy the actual image files into it.)

Are you really using Capture One version 9 or 10? (You have posted in the forum for versions 9 and 10.)
If so you cannot import Z5 files - support for the Z5 only started with version 20.
