Crop Size

Is there a way of knowing or better still, controlling in MP or dimensions a crop size? (A bit like what you have in PS)

  The crop tool lets you pick an unconstrained aspect ratio and then enter the size dimensions you want.

  Not quite. I'd like to be able to crop down to say 16MP in an unconstrained crop or crop down to say 5000x3000 pixels. Couldn't find that option anywhere so I guess it isn't there 😊

  FIle size in MB is, surely, a variable based on content? Does PS do something with variable percentage compression or similar to enable file size in MB?
  
  If you want specific dimensions the process recipe offers that but you may also want to look at setting a crop at the appropriate ratio first in order to get consistency for your expected results. Try it out and see what happens.
  
  Basic Tab in the Process tool and then look at the Scale field.
