Capture 10.1.2 Clone and Heal
I have never encountered this problem before updating to 10.1.2: everytime I try to Heal or Clone, the system crashes. I've sent reports, but no answer. I deleted the application and reloaded it, with the same result. Any ideas ?

When you wrote "I sent reports" do you mean system crash reports or did you create a Support Case?
If you wish for direct personal support create a Support Case.
Are you using sessions or catalogues?
Which version were you using before?
Which release of Mac OS are you working with?

Thanks for your response.
No, I did not create a Support Case (don't know how !)
Using Catalogues
I have always used the latest versions (in this case, I was previously on 10.1.1)
My MACs are up to date (10.12.5)
I have a MacBook Air and an iMac; BOTH COMPUTERS ARE CRASHING !
Thanks

Create a support case here.

Done
Thanks

I have also had the same problems and have also raised a support case. 0 -
Malcolm; Interesting. Did you get an answer, did you get a solution ? I did not. 0 -
Well, I now have a case number and after two different recommendations, which I followed, the system still crashes (Hardware acceleration for Display switched from Auto to Never and deleting Emojis from my file names)... 0 -
Hi Marc,
It won't help you, but I have installed 10.1.2 yesterday, and cloning or healing isn't an issue on my system. It seems even faster than before, but a new version seems always faster to anybody....
Cheers,

Marc,
No, I have not heard anything from Capture One Support on this issue nor have I heard from them on another, minor, issue.
In the past I have normally got something back from Support within 24 hours, so this delay is a little worrying.
I have left 10.1.2 on my Mac so that I can answer any Support questions but, if this silence persists I will have to roll back to my previous version.0 -
Malcolm; CO came back to me today and they asked me to create a new catalogue, which crashed as the previous ones. Still waiting for their recommendations... 0 -
Hello all,
We've identified this as a bug with macOS 10.12.5 and Capture One 10.1.2. This only occurs when using the ellipse (...) dropdown to change it from Adjustment to Clone or Heal. Right clicking on the layer and changing it there does not cause the crash.
Not sure of when the fix will come but in the meantime use the right-click option instead of the ellipse dropdown.0 -
Marc,
I see that Support has already got back to you with the work-around.
Hope this works fas well or you as it has for me.

Yes the work around works; I spent a lot of time going back and forth witht he CO team and want to thank them all.
Case closed until a software update0
