    Have you try to go to the bottom of the menu and select "other......" ?

    yes and every time I have to look for it
    I would like it to remember it every time since I have 2 plugins that is not on the list I have to switch every time
    I would be nice to have them on the list all the time

    As far as i know, CO uses the system's list of file associations. And here on my Mac, both lists looks identical.

    You can try adding your plugins to the system's list manually. I don't know if this procedure here is still valid for El Cap and Sierra, but it might be worth trying.
