Images for Myspace/Facebook
I did some photos for a model who would like to upload to facebook and myspace
When we tried they came out desatuated, grainy and low contrast
the images we up loaded were 300dpi 1mb sRGB jpegs
She has other images on these sites that she has uploaded from her old point and shoot which look fine
Has anybody got any experience with these sites
What image settings work best
thanks

Well all web images should be 72 dpi and I know sRGB is a web colour space as its got a really small range of colours but I always use Adobe1998 RGB and have never had any problems. 0 -

Well, that is because you view your images with a color managed browser, i.e. Safari. All other (less fortunate) people on the planet will probably see desaturated low contrast images.0 -

Yeah, I saw that one coming 😉. But only if you use v3 and enabled color management (disabled by default).0 -

I would have plead guilty as charged anyway.
On the educational level, this might be an interesting site to visit: sRGB Correct ColorSpace Tutorial for the Internet by G Ballard.0 -
