Media Pro Sony ARW raw files

Hi,
I installed Media Pro 1.5-906b on Windows 10 and then used my licensed copy of Capture One Pro 9 to load raw file images into a new catalog (add selected media to media pro). To my surprise all files but the Sony raw ARW have thumbnails.
I tried to regenerate previews but no go. When I open the file in "Media View" the thumbnail says "TIFF Rendering disabled" which I find odd when the file I opened was a Sony arw file.

When I examine the log file, Window -> Action Log it says Scanning media files, Unable to scan media file xxxxxx.arw, scanned media files. (1 failed)

I can view the arw raw files in the windows 10 explorer and the files show in COP 9 fine, so I am lost here ?

Anyone have an idea of whats missing? I even downloaded Acdsee 19 dam and the arw files show up in it ? Same files. I dont have lightroom so lets not go there.

Any help would be appreciated.

    I'm a Nikon guy so I don't have any other input.
    I'm not trying to be difficult, on the contrary, I find it irritating when no one responds to a question.

    I almost feel that Phase One is more interested in my money than trying to help and fix issues. I see this by reading some of the posts here. Looks like I will have to try other software for file organization.

    I had good searching features when using Photomechanic 5 on a mac but since building a new Win10 computer the software does not have the same searching capabilities. Go figure I save money building a better, faster Windows machine to loose functionality in my No. 1 software, not their fault but a windows file limitation.

    Oh, and I bought a 4k monitor, now even Adobe Bridge fonts are too small to use and they do not seem to have a fix for it as well.

    Just cant win this time around, I guess I should have bought a new slower mac.

    This is bullshit I cannot get this to work and more so from the lack of support from Phase One.

    Give Photo Supreme a try.
    I have it and while it works, I find it slow. You may be happier with it. The one thing it does that no other software can do, is honor C1 adjustments.
    It may be what you are looking for.

    Ok, I will try it.
    I have removed the media pro and decided against buying Capture one pro as well.

    BTW thanks for the recommendation, I will try it tomorrow.

    Sorry but I'm gonna have to recant.
    I just opened Photo Supreme and it seems to have problems with some C19 photos.
    Maybe they will get that fixed in the next update.

    You haven't mentioned it but did you open a Support Case with Phase One?

    If not you should - this is intended to be a User to User forum, not an official support forum.

    I mention it since it is not clear what you meant by "no support" in an earlier post.

    Hi, what camera model is it? Media Pro 1.5 only supports Sony cameras up to what was supported in Capture One 8.1.1.

    Are you using the Phase One rendering engine or WIC?
