Weird situation, I cannot replicate the problem.
But the program behaves different now than it was behaving previously.
When I've encountered the error, tiff image's thumbnail appeared between all thumbnails as soon as tiff image was created.
Now, I don't see the thumbnail of result tiff, until I won't switch to different catalog for a moment.

Hi, I am a newbie here. I wonder how did you process your tiff files? With the help of any processing SDKs? I am almost a green hand on this problem. I have even only learnt how to create thumbnails for images. I am testing with the related programs these days, so I am looking forward to your good suggestion. Thanks in advance.

Best regards,

I process TIFF images in Photoshop (mainly). Thumbnails are created and displayed by CO7P while opening folder with images or while image is processed by the CO7P.
To clarify my problem:[/color:f96eti8b]
When the RAW processing is done, a TIFF image is created. And this TIFF is locked. It cannot be deleted or altered (by PS) and saved as long, as PO7P is running. On the 7.1.4 version of CO7P (I investigated it with this version) the problem was not showing while image was processed without any edits. If anything was altered (exposition, white balance or anything else), the image was saved and locked. It looks like missing "close" command somewhere inside the CO7P.
On 7.1.5 problem still exists (however, I did not checked details, just noticed, that I can't edit tiff in ps and save it with the same name).

O'k, I think that I've narrowed the problem.
The file is locked only when it (the result od processing) is 16 bit tiff.
Can anyone confirm that?

Yes, I can confirm this issue. Opened a support case a few month ago (not knowing it is limited to 16bit tiff) and support told me that this behaviour is quite normal?! They mentioned that it occurs only when exporting to the source directory and when I switch to another in C1 after the export everything should work (what is in fact not the case). I have built a workaround, however would be happy to have this issue fixed.

Regards,
Joerg
