The user's Library folder is hidden by default in Lion. If you only need occasional access to the folder, open Finder, op 'Go' menu item, press the Option button which will add the Library option to the menu list, and select it. Now you have access from Finder to your Library folder.

You can also permanently unhide the Library folder like it was in Snow Leopard with a command in Terminal:
    chflags nohidden ~/Library

    Bonsoir Paul
If I new the option/"Go" menu, I didn't know the Terminal command line… However:
The Terminal command works well if you're logged as root, but not as administrator…

    I get this :

Last login: Fri Jan 13 21:30:57 on console
    MacbookPro:~ xxx$ chflags nohidden ~/Library
    chflags: /Users/xxx/Library: Permission denied
    MacbookPro:~ xxx$

    Any solution?

    Bonsoir Nicolas,
Sounds like a permissions issue, or put differently, that the access rights on the ~/Library are not allowing you to change the hidden flag. This is not regular behavior. The user's Library folder should give Read & Write access to the logged on user. You can check this by looking to the Info dialog (select the ~/Library folder, Cmd+I) and look at the permissions.

I just checked it for both my user accounts on my Lion system (one administrator, one standard user) and both ran the chflags command without problems and with the proper result.

    Hi PAul
I checked thru info of the folder and rights were set read/write for Root, Admin and "all users"…
Terminal command didn't work, so I ran the utility app Batchmod and now the command line is successful : )
    Thanks
