Lines in Thumbnails?

I'm using LE for my processing and the iPhoto for my jpg cataloging. Any files that have been processed in LE will ave horizontal lines across the bottom of the image when viewed in iPhoto. I've tried other apps to see if it is a problem in iPhoto but only processed files from LE turn out this way. Am I maybe missing a setting or could this be a bug in the file that iPhoto is misreading.

  I have seen this;
  Not knowing your versions-
  Its an compatibility issue, I think it was iPhoto 5 or an earlier version and I upgraded iphoto and the line problem resolved.

  The problem seems to be with any version of CaptureOne since it went Universal Binary running on an Intel Mac and any version of iPhoto (last tested with 6.0.6). Tech support acknowledged the problem, but said that the bug was hard to track down and may not be fixed.
  
  Incidentally, you can get rid of the lines by forcing iPhoto to rebuild all of the thumbnails from scratch. You can do this by holding down the command and option keys on iPhoto startup. If you have a lot of photos this will take quite a long time, but it does work.

  That worked! Thanks for the tip. It only took 10 mins to update. Until Phase 1 finds a fix I'll just have to make this a part of my regular mac maintenance.
