C1 High Sierra 2010 MacBookPro
Now that C1 can play with High Sierra. I upgraded my MacBookPro 2010 to OS 10.13.1 and C1 10.2.1
So far, everything seems to run smoothly - maybe a touch faster! My internal HD is a spinner as are external storage disks in a JBOD setup. Older Catalogs and Sessions require "updates" but it is quite fast.
Edit With AffinityPhoto works as advertised. The wait for everyone to catch up was really not so long. Hope others have a smooth ride as I did.

Why not? I'm running CO 10.2.1 on a mid-2009 MBP right here and now.
A bit off-topic, I admit, because I cannot even install Sierra or HIgh Sierra on this one. 😂0 -

Most of them either burn out or have a design flaw0 -
My 2010 MacBook Pro was running smoothly until I finally decided to upgrade about a month ago. I miss the 17" matte screen! And C1 performed pretty well on it too. I must say I'd swapped out the optical drive for a 1TB HDD and the original 500GB HDD for a 1TB SSD (Samsung EVO). I'm actually wondering why the heck I bothered to get a new machine... 0
