C1 5 + eos 50d connecting problem

Hi,

just tried the trial Version of C1 5. i want to connect my eos 50d with it (usb). turning my eos 50d on C1 5 is starting but it is not connecting with it. 50d shows busy inside the top display and that´s it. my goal was to shoot directly on my laptop. am i doing something wrong?

Hardware used:
eos 50d
macbook with snow leopard
C1 5 trial

  Do you run the trial as CO 5 Pro?

  I assume you have put the 50D into liveview mode?
  I have successfully used this method on my 50D with the Windows version of C1 Pro.

  Sorry for my really late response but i was busy.
  
  thanks for the answers so far. at the moment i have a connection between my cam and C1 5 and everything works fine. i started C1 as Pro Trial and connected my eos 50d after i started C1 this time. the 50d shows for about 30 seconds busy and after that the connection was stable.
  the last time i tried to conect my cam i first connected the cam with my mac and than i started C1 - perhaps this was the problem...
  
  so now i can try everything (i hope). looks promising so far...
