Increased Capture Speed in 3.7.4...Real increase or not?
In your recent press release about the 3.7.4 update, there are some statements made regarding a speed bump in the capture rate of C1 on an Intel-based Mac.
\"Capture One 3.7.4 is a Universal Mac application designed to run natively on both Intel and PowerPC-based Mac computers.. Initial tests show that the capture rate has increased by up to 40 per cent when version 3.7.4 is run on an Intel-based Mac.\"
Is this compared to the slower speeds people were reporting with 3.7.3 running on Intel-based Macs? If that is the case, there would be no significant speed bump, but rather only a return to the speeds we were getting on a PowerPC with 3.7.3.
Or is it a comparison of 3.7.4 on an Intel Mac versus 3.7.3 on a PPC Mac?
Thanks,
Chris

3.7.4 on a MacBook is FAST. As fast, or faster than my dual core 2.3 G5 running 3.7.3. The responsiveness of the tools, focusing, processing speeds, preview creation, everything is faster than I've seen it on any previous version on ANY mac.
I'm impressed.
