Catalogue still can't do proper folder summary view

I am still waiting that when I go on the parent folder I see all the files in the sub folders. If this is not possible the whole catalogue thing is pretty much useless. Hope that Catalogues would become actually useful in v8. Well perhaps in v9.

  I want this feature too, its silly restricting us to just one folder at a time.

  Capture One was inspired by (most) other catalogue features from Aperture, but omitted the one feature IMHO that makes Aperture so brilliant for cataloguing: the ability to see all underlying images under projects, folders, etc. I sincerely hope to see this in Capture One as well, until that time the catalogue feature in CO is as you mention pretty much useless.

  Same as ctrl/cmd selecting various folders and show all the images in them. Pretty normal for Lightroom or Aperture, not possible in Capture One.

  Just downloaded and gave version 8 a try. User collections now shows all images inside them when selecting a collection - great! This one small feature makes the whole catalogue experience so much more useful in v8 compared to v7 😊
