Speed c7 vs c8

Hi!

I just downloaded and installed capture one pro 8.

Under :

You say capture one 8 is alot faster processing. If I would read the graph correctly capture one 8 should be about 20-30% faster.

But I did a test with 8 .iiq files from my iq140.

I exported them as tiff 8bit 100% prophoto rgb with both 8.0 and 7.2.3, same settings. Same hardware. THe files in c8 is upgraded to the c8 engine.

capture one 7 exports all the files in about 18 seconds and capture one 8 does it in about 28 seconds.

I use 16 bits of ram, i-5-2500K cpu + AMD Radeon HD 6800 graphic card. The images in both tests are being read and written to the same SSD drive.

Any thoughts?

I rebooted after each test and ran it 3 times. No diffrence.

  Are you sure that your CO8 installation is using OpenCL ? Is the Acceleration set to Auto for the Processing (under Preferences -> General)
