Are Cmd-C and Cmd-V working in other applications, such as copying a file in Finder, or copying and pasting text in a Word Processor?

Yes, working just fine everywhere else, so I am totally puzzled.

So what kinds of things are you trying to copy and paste in C1?

Any type of adjustment from one image to another.
    Typically crop and exposure/HDR adjustments.

Now that I do have my sound unmuted I also hear the mac error tone when I press the keys.

It works just fine via the context menu on the thumbs. So the issue is related to the keyboard, not the actual copy function me thinks.

There is a tool for copying adjustments from one image to another. See this knowledge base article or this .

I've never seen anyone suggest using Cmd-C and Cmd-V for this.

    CO uses <SHIFT> + <CMD> + 'c' and <SHIFT> + <CMD> + 'v' keyboard shortcuts to copy / paste all adjustments from one image to another.

<CMD> + 'c' and <CMD> + 'v' are used for selected text content, like tool values and keyword text.

The shortcuts are listed in the main menu - 'Help' - 'Keyword Shortcut Summary' and can be viewed and changed in main menu - 'Capture One' - 'Edit Keyboard Shortcuts'.

The Copy / Paste Adjustment shortcut can be found in the main menu - 'Adjustments', in line with the copy / paste texts, too.

    Regards,
    Hans

EDIT: quotation mark typo correction. 😕

    Thanks!
I must have overlooked the Shift symbol when looking at the keyboard shortcuts.

But why in heavens name is this not equivalent to the WIndows version where CTRL-C/CTRl-V work just fine to copy adjustments and text depending on context?
One would expect the Mac to work just the same with CTRL substituted by CMD like it works for other shortcuts.
    Definitely not very logical.
