New to Capture One
I just installed Capture One pro 9 on my mac. Of course I'm all excited, importing my first photos seemed awkward but I got a folder with 9 images in to practice with. Now every time i try to import a new image folder it seems to give me the option to only import the very same photos, the drop down menu in the tutorial video does not show up. Now I have a small list of sessions and catalogs from my attempts that are blank and they do not seem deletable.
Any help would be appreciated, I have watched the video over and over.
Thanks, Doug

Hi Doug,
1. click on Import (Import Window appears).
2. The first option should be one of the following two:
a. "> Import From" : if so, click on the ">" to open the Import From menu, continue with step 3.
b. "v Import From" : if so, continue with step 3
3. Click on the bar after "Location".
4. Choose "Select folder ..."
You can delete empty catalogs simply by using the finder.
If you have forgotten were CO stored the catalog files in your case, choose File => New Catalog ...
The New Catalog window appears.
Behind "Location:" you find the name of the folder that contains your catalog files.
I assume this works the same for sessions (assume as I never use / have never used sessions).
Hope this helps.
Best regards,
