Slideshow image orientation

I am having a problem with Nikon NEF files processed in View NX 2 and Capture NX2. When I run a slideshow, they do not switch orientation to the correct position, but stay in the orientation of initial capture.

Can anyone give a solution?

  P.S. to my post a minute ago. I now see from Henrimonnier's earlier post that he had some NEF issues. I Went back to the slideshow and noticed that it was also not producing the latest versions of the processed images, despite a refresh to the Media Pro file. I re-ran the slideshow in View NX 2 and the images were presented correctly and - it appeared to me - generally in a better quality, although this might be a result of not showing the latest versions mentioned above.

  If you rebuild the items does the rotation correct itself?
