Am I to understand that even if you purchased C1 Pro 6 less then 60 days ago I will have to pay an upgrade price for version 7?

  Seems to be the case. I purchased on Sept 18.

  Hi All,
  
  If you purchased in our Store from 17 - 30 September then Capture One Pro 6 was discounted by 50% automatically.
  
  Therefore your upgrade price from version 6 - 7 actually means you are better off.
  
  If we use US Dollar as an example, you would have paid, $149 for CO6. Upgrade price is $99. Total being $248.
  
  The new price for CO7 is $299.
  
  Anyone who bought from September 25th automatically gets a free upgrade to version 7. Your licence key will work in 7.
