Changing units in Crop mode?

For some reason my units (px, inches, etc.) are greyed out in my crop tool. Any idea how to get that back?

  I tried a bunch of stuff and it finally worked. I'll keep an eye open for that next time though. Could've been it. Thanks Ian.
