Bug in importing geotagged images - C1 ignores East/West
I am currently looking to switch from Lightroom to C1, and right now I am getting errors when importing geotagged images that have the exif information in a separate XML file.
To reproduce:
I export an image taken in California and get the raw image file plus an XML file with the EXIF information. Latitude is only encoded in the XML (not in the RAW) and it is encoded as follows:
I am not an EXIF expert, but a casual glance at the EXIF spec 4.6.6 looks like this is correct.
I import this into C1 and it imports it as "122.19773833000002" which is incorrect and places the image somewhere in China. It seems that C1 just ignores the "W" ppart. If no indicator for east/west is used this should be "-122.19773833000002" for California.
Is this a known issue?
