rename the original raw files?
Hello.
I've just finished my first live project with COPro and need an answer to what I hope is a simple request.
I need to rename all my original raw files as I seen them in the catalogue.
So I've edited everything, exported the catalogue and selected all, rename. In the browser they are showing as ReName01.cr2 ReName02.cr2 ReName03.cr2 ReName04.cr2 but if I navigate to the Original folders they retain the original file name. So Origal01.cr2 Origal03.cr2 Origal16.cr2 Origal18.cr2 for example.
I need the Raw's to match the exported JPEG's.
Thank you.

Select All, right-click then Batch Rename.
But I'm not sure I fully understood your request.0 -
That doesnt work, they look renamed in the cat. But like I said, on disc, they retain their original names. Its like their virtual renamed inside COPro.
Which is rubbish as Lightroom renames the raw file.0 -
Absolutely right. That's the reason I only use referenced catalogues.

Yes it works with referenced catalogues. I don't know about managed one. 0 -
Ok, so I figured it out.
I went back to my original catalogue, before I exported as new catalogue. Within the folder hierarchy you can rename the sources. So I've moved all the green flagged images into new folder and renamed there. Different working practices to lightroom.
Think I'll stick to LR for now, CO10.2 is so full of bugs. v10.1.2 is better.
