YELLOW LINE IN LEVELS TOOL?

I should have asked a long time ago…

When making a Levels adjustment I will often see a yellow (or is it more orange?) vertical line appear. At some point it disappears again. I suspect it's an indicator or aid to making a levels adjustment?

  That line is an indicator that represent the level of that part of your image the mouse pointer is on. Same for Curve tool.
  In Levels tool it helps in using the black en white point picker.

  Good to know. I knew it must indicating something, and that explains why it "appears and then disappears!"
