Customize naming tokens?
Is it possible to customize naming tokens? My stock agency limits the number of characters in the name. So I would like to define a date format as "20180802" to save characters, vs. the default date presets.
Also, can someone explain why the sequence of tokens entered in the output name is different from the final name that CO outputs? Specifically, when I enter the date token at the end of the token sequence, the date is published first in the final name. Not what I want.
Thank you.

You can set the date part of the name as you wish it to be by using the tokens for Image Year(yyyy), Image Month(mm) and Image Day(dd).
I have never experienced the date defaulting to the start of the name sequence by itself when positioned elsewhere in the string. Can you provide a screen shot of an example of what you see?
The entire process should present to you an example of what the name will look like as you create the definition, including any subfolders, sub names, meta data information or other token related output plus whatever you might enter manually into the string. Are you sure the date you see is not coming from something other than your date definition and that the date definition is indeed at the end of the string?
And when you say "the end" do you mean the end of the name before the dot and the file type extension?
If you can provide an example I can try it on my system.
HTH.

Thank you. Regarding your requested screen shot (relative to my question about token sequence in the output name) ... due to some other abnormal behavior with CO11.2, PhaseOne advised me to uninstall and do a clean reinstall.
In process of reinstalling. If the token naming sequence issue recurs, I will send a screen shot.
(I don't see an image upload link in the forum software. How does one upload an image?)
Thank you again.0 -
You put an image in a post using the Img button to get image tags. You have to have hosted the image somewhere like Dropbox, Flickr, etc, then put the link to it between the tags.
