Smart Albums: Filter by Date - Year
I'm trying to get Smart Albums to work so that I can replicate some Lightroom functionality (I'm trialling C1 to replace LR).
Here is what I tried but failed:
- New->Smart Album
- Search Criteria: "Date - Year" -> "is on" -> 2014
Returns is a list of all 2015 photos.
- Search Criteria: "Date - Year" -> "is on" -> 2013
Returns is a list of all 2015 photos.
Yet, I have photos going all the way back to 2010 — What am I doing wrong?

Following up on this — seems to start working after you restart C1 – so the Smart Album initially doesn't work, but restarting C1 causes the Smart Album to work. 0 -
There is no actual need of smart albums for functionality that you've outlined. You can use filters in filters section!
For that reason I never use smart albums0
