My main catalog is suddenly empty

Hi all

I've a few C1 catalogs and have been slowly working my way through learning this software over the past few months. But ended up confident enough to move from Aperture and use C1 as my main library management tool and editor.

I have a main catalog, all the files are referenced, and the catalog itself is 86.3Gb. So the previews are in there...

Today, i loaded up C1, it loaded up the main catalog, offered to convert it to 8.1.1, I clicked Ok, it proceeded, didn't take very long and loaded up an empty, apparently, database, with the two Import logos just like a brand new catalog. No folder structure, user structure and no images.

Any thoughts? I hunted for an Aperture like 'rebuild and repair' option but only found a verify catalog option, it gave it a clean bill of health.

Just to note, my other catalogs open up fine and operate as before after the upgrade.

  Just a thought... Make sure you have no filter or image search active. If a prior search is active, and the search criteria now have zero matches, you will be looking at an full catalog with no hits.
